1. How to choose between single and double gun external welding machines?
The single-gun external welding machine (DW-EW-I) has a simple structure and controllable cost, which is suitable for general pipeline on-site and prefabricated production. The double-gun external welding machine (DW-EW-II) has a double welding torch working together, which has a higher welding efficiency and is suitable for projects with tight construction periods and high quality requirements such as high-grade long-distance pipelines and key energy projects. It can be flexibly configured according to the project size and duration requirements.
2. What diameter ranges are supported?
The outer welding machine series adapts to the full pipe diameter range of Φ219-Φ1422mm, and cooperates with toothed steel rails and split annular rails, which can be flexibly adapted to scenarios such as oil and gas long-distance pipelines, chemical pipelines, municipal pipeline networks and pipeline prefabrication plants.
3. How to ensure all-position welding consistency?
The welding parameters of the equipment change automatically with the welding position, and the parameters at each point of the circumference are completed by the automatic control program, with the automatic arc tracking (double guns) and multi-dimensional adjustment of the welding torch to ensure the consistency of the welding at all positions.
4. What kind of power supply is required for the external welding machine?
The external welder can be paired with HW1000 Diesel Engine-Driven Welders(able to drive 2 sets of automatic external welding equipment simultaneously) or welding truck to achieve all-position automatic welding on the pipeline.
